Rotary supports Staveley Armed Forces Weekend

Bolsover Rotary members supported the Staveley Armed Forces Veterans Association (SAFVA) at their annual Armed Forces Weekend

It was a wonderful day at the SAFVA event down at the Canal Basin, Staveley – one of four locations (Staveley Hall, Market Place, High Street and Canal Basin) used for this year’s event to provide a wide variety of attractions.

Rotary ran their renowned crepes stall, and a 50:50 raffle where half of the proceeds were the first prize and the other half went to Bolsover Rotary charities.

It was a very hot day, and despite a slow start, word soon got out that a good time was to be had, and in the end it was a successful day.
