In October The Rotary Club of Bolsover joined forces with St John Ambulance, and in particular the Badgers, to plant 5,000 purple crocus corms in the Hornscroft Park in Bolsover to symbolise the enormous success so far of the Polio eradication campaign.

This week they are a “Blooming Spectacle” and a tribute to those volunteers who braved the weather to plant the corms. Go and see them this week as they do not last long and the weather will soon damage them
