How do I join?
If you’re interested in joining Rotary there are a number of options. Involvement in Rotary is flexible, ranging from full membership to project volunteering.
We want to make sure your Rotary experience is the best it can be and fits around your lifestyle.
There are several ways you can become involved with Rotary through our Club:
Friends of Rotary Club of Bolsover
There is no cost to becoming our friend. We will welcome your involvement in all of our activities and events, and you will be regularly updated with news of the Club and what we are up to. Simply let us have your email address and permission to hold your personal data.
Associate Member
As an Associate Member you will take an active role in the Club, and will be encouraged to attend club meetings and events. You will not have a formal vote on Club decisions, and you cannot hold office within the Club.
The cost of Associate Membership is £25 per year, with the costs of meals at our Club meetings at £15. There may also be incidental event costs (tickets etc) when you attend. Contact us if you would like more details.
Full membership
With full membership comes a wide range of benefits. From a social circle which becomes very wide as your Rotary membership develops, to opportunities for International activity and project delivery. Because of its spread throughout the UK and abroad, Rotary provides an excellent networking opportunity. You will be welcomed at Rotary meetings wherever you are in the World.
This is a chance for you to support the community in Bolsover and the surrounding area, with your time and effort to benefit those less fortunate, and have great fun while you’re doing it.
You will be expected to take an active role within the Club, attending weekly meetings and supporting events and activities fully.
The cost of full membership is £125 per year, and there is a weekly meal charge of £15. As your membership develops you will have the opportunity to take office in the Club, culminating in a 1-year term leading the members as their President.
If you would like to learn more, or visit one of our meetings as our guest, please email the President at president@bolsover-rotary.org.uk, or complete the contact form.
