Members of the Rotary Club of Bolsover said goodbye to the last Rotary year on 1st July, and welcomed a new President to lead the Club for the next 12 months.
Incoming President, Rotarian Rita Reed, has said that she wants to strengthen the ties that the Club has with the local community, as well as supporting the international Rotary Campaign to eradicate Polio, which is tantalisingly close to its successful conclusion.
Rita was travelling and unable to be present to formally receive her chain of office, but Vice-President Margaret Scott stepped in to start the year on her behalf.
