Edwina Edwards from Bolsover Woodlands Enterprise Ltd came to the Club to tell us about the work that the trust is doing in Bolsover to offer people with learning disabilities exciting opportunities to develop new skills and to make a positive contribution to the management and conservation of woodlands in North Derbyshire.

Edwina talked about the work Bolsover Woodlands Enterprise Ltd which includes the construction of outdoor furniture using timber which has been sourced from managed woodlands. The team has a range of equipment including a chipping machine, portable saw mill and fali to enable them to carry out a range of diverse tasks.
They also have a limited supply of planked timber such as oak, ash, beech and sycamore, for sale. Seasoned logs from managed woodlands are sold from the base in Bolsover.
