President Graham Weighill took over leadership of Bolsover Rotary at the annual Handover meeting, and introduced his team for 2022-23
President Graham thanked Paul Copper for leading the club so positively during 2021-22, and under difficult circumstances as the world came out from two years of Covid.
Outgoing President Paul thanked the members ofr giving the opportuntiy to be President, before handing over the Chain of Office to Graham.
In return, President Graham gave Paul a Past President’s medal to commemorate his year.
Graham the welcomed the rest of team, starting with joint Presidents-Elect Geoff Woodhead (pictured) and David Coupe (who was absent).
Geoff and David bore the brunt of the Covid years, unable to hold functions or events, or even meet face-to-face, in their years as Presidents. In recognition, the Club has therefore offered them the chance to repeat the experience by being joint Presidents in 2023-24.
He went on to introduce Patrica Crehan as Vice-President. She will be President of the Club in 2024-25
