About 40 members and guests of Bolsover Rotary enjoyed a first-class Christmas meal and entertainment at Twin Oaks on Wednesday 17th December 2025.
We were treated to brilliant carols by the local Ireland Colliery Chesterfield Brass Band.
The party was held in the marquee at Twin Oaks, and despite the challenging weather blowing outside, the atmosphere was jolly and festive.
Sadly, Santa wasn’t able to make a personal appearance, but he made sure that everyone had a gift to remember the evening.
Then we had the introduction of a new group made up of three Bolsover Rotary members – Paul Copper (Telecaster), Jill Cooper (Ukelele) and Margaret Davis (Dave Berry’s Stratocaster). Various nerves quickly disappeared when everyone joined in with their singalongs, Christmas Carols and some 50/60’s tunes too. Here are some more pictures of the evening:
