Bolsover Rotary hosted a Vintage Tea Dance at Bolsover Parish Rooms on Saturday 18 November.
With mouthwatering treats and the talented close harmony singing of lots of 40s, and 50s music by the LaDiDahs, the event was a wonderful distraction from the cold, wet, autumn weather outside.
Some enthusiastic dancers dressed in period outfits, and everyone had a memorable time.
The proceeds of the event will go to Rotary Foundation and the Bolsover Rotary Charity account.
One very happy dancer wrote later on Facebook: “Thanks to all concerned with the Tea Dance, it far exceeded all our expectations. great entertainers, superb afternoon tea, waitress service, friendly people. So please we stumbled upon this eventvia Facebook. Hope you repeat sometime.”
Watch out for Bolsover Rotary’s next event
