Bolsover Rotary Club is looking for new members and it could be just what you are looking for, as a way to develop your links with your area.
Club President Paula Weighill said “Our three newest members, who joined in 2025, were all new to the area and have found joining Rotary an enjoyable way to make new friends and develop links with their new community.”
We have many members from all different backgrounds helping others…. Retired doctor, Sheep Shepherdess, farmers, water pump engineers, plumbers, musicians, ex miners, etc etc….. the list goes on…. Oh and Santa himself even chips in with his UK Tour every year…..
We are very friendly and enjoy each other’s company for a couple of hours each week, and we enjoy attending various events such as the Bolsover Gala, the Hollingwood residents events, the Poolsbrook week end events….
Then we share the allotted times in 2-3 hour sessions so no one is expected to devote hours and hours at any one time….. this is the fun side of being a Rotarian, laughing at ourselves and joining in whatever is happening around us!
