Bolsover Rotary President Paula Weighill has signed up to take on a 13 mile sponsored trek in the Peak District in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.

President Paula commented, “a close family member has recently been diagnosed with dementia and we have lost other relatives to this disease, so I wanted to do something to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society so they can continue their work to find a cure for this cruel condition.”
Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
President Paula will be undertaking the 13 mile trek in the Peak District on Saturday 27th June. She has set up a Just Giving page, if you would like to sponsor her for this challenge, click on the link below
