Past Presidents Paula and Graham Weighill set themselves a massive challenge when they decided to walk 13 miles in aid of the Alzheimers Society.
The challenge was made dramatically worse by the unfortunate coincidence with the record heatwave during June. They raised £633 for the Alzheimers Society, which was increased by Gift Aid.

The Trek26 Peak District challenge enabled entrants to choose to walk 13 or 26 miles. They experience the beauty of the Peak District’s famous hills, dramatic rocky outcrops, wild moorlands, and tranquil valleys.
They started in bright spirits at Bakewell Showground just outside the town of Bakewell, heading out east to the river Derwent before passing glorious Chatsworth House, then heading North and back over Calver Peak through lush countryside.
The weary fundraisers arrived back at Bakewell about 7 hours later and Graham swore never to do anything like it again, although he probably will!

Well done to both of them.
