The members of Bolsover Rotary and their guests gathered at The Hostess Restaurant in Sookholme, Mansfield to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of the club’s charter.
Members from other Rotary clubs joined in the celebrations, along with 52 non-Rotarian guests and Bolsover members to form a lively gathering of 92 people.
Club President Graham Weighill chaired proceedings from the Top Table with his usual informal, relaxed style. District Governor Martin Bye toasted the success of the club (including our social media and website presence!). Paul Davies, President of Chesterfield Rotary Club, out of which Bolsover was formed 43 years ago, spoke of the relationship and cooperation betwen clubs.
After a superb meal the party was entertained by the Soldiers of Swing.
