The Rotary Club of Bolsover held a clay pigeon shoot at Highwood Farm at Whitwell Common.
The event was well supported with over 150 people attending, enjoying lots of things happening for all the family. The shooting was popular and all the stands were kept busy throughout the evening – not a good time to be a clay pigeon!
To support the shooting, there was an electronic pistol range for children, a tombola and raffle, and ferret roulette. This was an entertaining and original activity which proved very popular with everyone, with punters getting very vocal in their encouragement of the ferrets to choose their tube to exit the pen.
