The Rotary Club of Bolsover recently celebrated the work of those charities and community groups who have been recipients of Rotary grants in the last year.
President Margaret Scott congratulated all those present for their hard work and wished them well fvor the future. She said that she “ Hoped the money donated assisted them in achieving their aims of improving the life of those they represent in the community both near and far.”
The club has supported organisations ranging from Gambia Schools, Aquabox to football clubs, and a local charity assisting destitute Ethiopian people. The Club’s many grants also reached local organisations such as Bolsover Gala, the Freedom Project, and numerous local schools.
President Margaret went on to assure all community groups that he club will continue with its commitment to them and went on to thank all those who assisted in making it possible to carry out Rotary’s charitable work,
