Supporting our armed forces

Rotary had a very busy weekend when we again supported the Staveley Armed Forces Veterans Association at Poolsbrook Country Park.

This event has become a popular annual occasion for the community and is always well supported.

This year’s event had a visit from a Battle of Britain Memorial flight Lancaster

As usual the Rotary Club ran a 50/50 raffle with lucky winers receiving half of the ticket sales proceeds at draws throughout the day.
