In these difficult times and like every club, the Rotary Club of Bolsover has had to suspend its normal weekly meetings, but regular contact between members is important to develop and maintain fellowship.
The Club has held its first “virtual” meeting to address the ways in which we could help local residents in this time of dramatic need.
It was agreed that we would donate cash to the Freedom Community Project to support their foodbank and other crucial work in and around Bolsover.
Rotary will continue to work with local groups through its Community Grants scheme, but probably this will focus mainly on relief of hardship in the local community during the period of isolation.
If you would like to contribute to the Rotary Club of Bolsover Charity Trust Fund to help with this work, please contact us.
