Bolsover Rotary held another of their unique Fun Race Nights on 2nd March 2024, and it was a huge success.
Forget videos and electronics, this was a physical, interactive event, with plenty of audience participation. Almost 100 people gathered in the marquee at Twin Oaks Hotel, and enjoyed an excellent pie & peas supper, served by the Hotel’s staff, halfway through the evening’s racing.
There was a Tote for those who enjoy a flutter while cheering their horse to the winning-post.
Club President David Coupe, pictured here in his racing colours, thanked everyone who was involved in the success of the evening, including, of course, the staff at Twin Oaks Hotel.
Of course, it was all in aid of Rotary charities, and the evening made over £1,400 for the Charity account, after all the expenses had been paid.
