National Volunteer Week, 1-7 June 2018

Rotarians are part of the world’s biggest service community – a global network of 1.2 million Rotary members across the world giving up their time, sharing their skills and making a difference in our communities.

Last year, Rotary members donated 24.3 million volunteer hours on 30,000 community projects, each making its own unique impact.

The Rotary Club of Bolsover is proud to make its own contribution to that enormous total. Our club members have supported many community events and causes in and around the Bolsover area, working with the many volunteers from other organisations giving up their time to help local people. Many services and community activities rely on volunteers for their very existence and Bolsover Rotary Club is proud to be associated with them.

Together, Rotarians throughout the world are tackling some of the biggest global and local issues, from health to homelessness and from peace to polio.
