Our Club

The Rotary Club of Bolsover meets every Wednesday at Ringwood Hall Hotel, BrimingtonRingwood Hall

Established in 1980 we are a group of local people who want to support local and international good causes, while enjoying strong friendships and good fun.

The Rotary Club of Bolsover has supported many local charities both with donations of money, and by giving time and expertise to help local events and projects. We have been associated with Bolsover Gala, The Freedom Community Project, the Bolsover Christmas Festival and Lantern Parade and other local groups. In the last couple of years we have also offered a Community Grant scheme where small local groups can bid for grants of up to £500 for key projects. This scheme alone has meant that the community has enjoyed the benefit of over £15,000 worth of investment in small but key projects.

Rotary is an international organisation with over 1.2m members worldwide. It is fitting therefore that we also support international projects through charities like the Friends of Kadzinuni in Kenya, The Gambia Schools appeal, and of the course, Rotary International’s own project to end polio.

The biggest fund raiser that we hold each year is at Christmas when we take Santa to meet the people of the area. Click here to read about Santa’s visit in 2019.

If you think this is something you would like to be involved in, please contact us. You can visit and get to know us for a while, maybe become an Associate Member, before having  to commit to full membership.
